Registers of receipt of interest on loans to railroads, 1837-1877.

The state treasurer managed loans for the construction of railroads and bridges by private enterprise. As part of this responsibility the treasurer issued scrip, managed assets, and invested money for the repayment of the debt. Registers record receipt of interest paid on loans, scrip, and bonds at six-month intervals.
